Creating a booking within the editor is a 3-part process:
- Add Campaign Summary
- Add Booking Order Line Items to reflect the implementation plan
- Publish the Booking Order to the approver(s)
Campaign Summary
Creating a Booking Order can only be done within the Booking Order editor. Creator access is limited to actvation traders.
- Select Booking Type. This will be defaulted to External bookings.
- Select Advertiser. Select from dropdown list. List options will be limited to Advertiser’s you can access. If advertiser filter is applied from SKYNET home screen, this will reflect in this view.
- Select Agency. Select from dropdown list. Field will be auto populated based on advertiser selection.
- Enter Campaign. Enter the name of the campaign as per media plan.
- Enter Business Director. Enter the name of the Business Director on the account. Field will be auto populated based on advertiser selection.
- Select Primary Client Code. Select from dropdown list. List options will be limited to the advertiser selected.
- Select Primary Product Code. Select from dropdown list. List options will be limited to the client code selected.
- Enter Purchase Order. Add the campaign purchase order (PO). Assigning a PO at campaign summary level will assign across all media lines. PO can be applied at media line level. Field is optional.
- Select Currency. Select from dropdown list. Field will be auto populated based on advertiser selection.
- Select Activation Account Director. Select from dropdown list. Field will be auto populated based on advertiser selection.
Note: Start Date & End Date will auto populate based on booking line selections
- Add Additional Commentary. Add additional commentary within the comment box. Field is optional.
- Add Supporting Documents. Add supporting documents by clicking within the rectangle and selecting a file or drag & dropping a file into the uploader. This is an optional field. Formats supported: xlxs, pdf, doc, pptx
- Click Save.
Note: The publish button will be deactivated until booking lines have been added and saved within the media section.
Booking Order Line Items
The second part of the booking creation process is to add booking lines. This reflects the timings, budgets and media channels approved within the agency media plan.
- Click Add Media. Click the Media Type from the left panel.
- Select Media. Choose media type from the dropdown list to open booking line editor.
- Select Client Code. Choose client code. Primary client code from booking order will be selected by default. To update, click the lock sign to enable edit function.
- Select Product Code. Choose product code. Primary client code from booking order will be selected by default. To update, click the lock sign to enable edit function.
- Enter Purchase Order. Add purchase order (PO). If a PO is assigned at campaign summary level, it will be applied at booking line level and will not be eligible to edit. Field is optional.
- Select SMD Schedule. Select SMD schedule. This will be auto assigned based on booking details.
- Select Service Model. Select from the dropdown list.
- Enter Service Fee %. Enter service % fee as numerical value. Selecting FTE or Fixed Margin within Service Model will deactivate this field.
- Assign OMnet. If applicable, toggle on to reflect the booking has an allocation of OMnet inventory. Add % of media allocation in percentage format.
Budgets & Dates:
- Add Budget Segments. Click to open Budget Segments modal.
- Select Start Date. Select from calendar.
- Select End Date. Select from calendar.
- Input Budget. Add budget.
- Add Planned impressions. Enter number of planned impressions. This field applicable to FTE and Fixed Margin service models only. This field is optional.
- Add Contracted Rate. Enter CPM rate being charged to the client. This field applicable to Fixed Price service models only. This field is optional.
- Click Add.
- Repeat. To add another budget segment, repeat steps.
- Click Continue.
Implementation Plan:
- Select Booking Line Type. Select from dropdown. Field will be defaulted to programmatic.
- Select Platform. Select platform from dropdown list.
- Select Ad Type. Select Ad type from from dropdown list.
- Select Asset Types. Select Asset Type from dropdown list.
- Select Auction Type. Select Auction Type from dropdown list.
- Select Device. Select Device from dropdown list.
- Select Environment. Select Environment from dropdown list.
- Select Geography. Select Geography from dropdown list.
- Select Publisher. Select Publisher from dropdown list.
- Select Transaction Type. Select Transaction Type from dropdown list.
- Target Demo. Select Demo from dropdown list. PPL 18+ are selected by default.
- Enter Targeting Profile. Describe the targeting profile for the booking line. This field is optional.
Tip: Toggle on ‘Apply ad type default settings’ to auto populate selections based on most used settings
Trafficking:
- Add Trafficking. Click to open budget trafficking modal.
- Select Trafficking Type. Choose from the dropdown list.
- Select Platform. Choose from the dropdown list.
- Select Method. Choose from the dropdown list.
- Click Add.
- Repeat. To add another trafficking platform, repeat steps.
- Click Continue.
Note. Trafficking is an optional section. Selections will be visible in the main editor window.
Billing:
- Add Medium. Select medium code to use in billing. A default code will be attributed to each platform.
- Add Creditor. Select creditor code to use in billing. A default code will be attributed to each platform.
- Add Ad Category. Select ad category to use in billing. A default category will be attributed to each platform.
- Enter Placement Description. Enter placement description to use in billing. A default placement description is auto generated.
Tip: If a bespoke description is required by your client, enter it here to make your billing period simpler.
- Click save.
