Report Builder FAQs (AUNZ)

When can we retrieve reporting and forecasting data within Report Builder?

As soon as any MBA or Bookings is being inputted, the data can be retrieved. The more detailed the information input, the more detailed the output.

The team needs training/ a refresher on how to use the Report Builder. Who is the best contact?

A comprehensive how-to guide and videos are available in portal via the support section. Alternatively, you can go directly to knowledge portal at https://help.omgskynet.io  For any other issues, reach out to your local SKYNET support team.

Can any Skynet user generate reports using Report Builder?

The user must be given permission to the Report Builder app and must have access to the relevant agency & clients before data can be extracted for reporting and analysis. If a user is not able to run reports, this would indicate they do not have access to the specific agency & client code. Log a ticket with the Skynet helpdesk to grant them access: https://flightdeck.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/25

What is the difference between MBA Reporting & Booking Portal Reporting?

MBA Reporting is designed to extract all data records for Standard & Express MBAs raised for the specific clients & agency. Booking Portal Reporting is designed to extract all Internal & External Bookings created for the specific clients & agency.

Why do some fields within the Dimensions & Metrics are blank upon exporting into excel?
For fields that are Optional in MBA Tool & Booking Portal, if the user does not specify the value or completed the dropdown selection then these fields will always appear as blank. As a rule of thumb, the more detailed the information input, the more detailed the output.

Can we generate reports for historical approved MBAs & Bookings for non-existing clients within our business?

If the client code is listed as inactive within our system, the client will be disabled automatically within the Skynet client database. Therefore, the user will not be able to create, edit, archive and preview existing entries in the MBA or Booking Portal listing page. However, these MBAs & Bookings data will be available to download within the Report Builder app.

Beyond downloading & email reports, can we share and schedule custom report templates to other team members?

Only Custom Templates can be shared to other Skynet users. Simply click the share button next to the save button to give other user email addresses permission to access the scheduled reporting template.
